Perminder has worked in publishing for 16 years for both large trade publishers and small independents.

For the last five years Perminder has been with Bonnier Publishing. She is also the CEO across the Kings Road Publishing division whose imprints include; Studio Press, Templar Books and Weldon Owen.

Ben Dunn

Managing Director

Ben joined Blink as managing director in November 2015, having worked as publishing director of Penguin Random House’s commercial non-fiction wing Century for over 6 years. Prior to this he spent 15 years publishing popular-culture books at Hodder, HarperCollins, 4th Estate and BBC Books. His publishing has included such authors as Gordon Ramsay, Ricky Gervais, Russell Brand, Sir David Jason and Steve Coogan.


Lisa Hoare

Communications Director

Lisa has worked in publishing for over 21 years. Previously working in the magazine and newspaper industry Lisa focused on the commercial element of business; developing and creating products and generating advertising revenue. Lisa joined Bonnier Publishing as Group UK Sales Manager in early 2012 to lead the team and drive sales across the groups imprints. In January 2014 Lisa was promoted to one of the key members of the management team to launch Blink Publishing, Lisa is now responsible for the publicity teams for Blink including, PR, Marketing and Social Media.

Karen Browning

Head of PR

Karen has worked in media and publishing for 18 years for Penguin Books, Associated Newspapers, BBC Worldwide, IPC Magazines, the BBC and Five. Before joining Blink Publishing, Karen was Publicity Manager for Penguin’s Allen Lane non-fiction list working with authors across a wide range of genres including history, economics, politics, arts and culture.


Lizzie Dorney-Kingdom

PR Manager

Lizzie has joined Blink from Big Sister Promotions bringing with her experience in TV & Music Publicity – previously working in PR for Sony Music Lizzie has worked closely with artists including Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Tom Jones, Paul Weller, London Grammar, alt J, McFly and more. Devising and implementing targeted and creative campaigns to increase profile, drive awareness and reach new audiences during Album and Tour release cycles.

Joel Simons 

Editor

Joel joined Blink Publishing in April 2014. An experienced Editor, he has previously worked at Bloomsbury Continuum, where he was in charge of a wide range of book titles covering areas such as politics, current affairs, philosophy, travel and biography.


Oliver Holden–Rea

Junior Editor

Oliver joined Blink as Junior Editor in April 2015. Previously at Bloomsbury Publishing in the Adult Trade department, over four years he worked across the lists of multiple commissioning editors on a broad range of bestselling and prize-winning titles, from literary fiction and crime to memoir and historical non-fiction.

Emily Rough

Junior Designer

Emily has recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Communications, specialising in Graphic design and illustration. Since graduating, she has worked as a freelance illustrator, interned as a graphic designer/map art worker at a children’s publishing company and Kew Gardens Design and Publishing departments, before joining Blink Publishing as a Junior Designer.


Michelle Tish Tilley

Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager

Tish began her career in luxury brand retail management. Before long she realised the huge marketing potential of the Social Media boom and began freelancing as a one-woman-band offering online marketing management, web development and print/digital advertising. She provided bespoke campaigns and online solutions to a mixed bag of clients including Museums, Restaurants, Boutiques & Salons. Completely self-taught, she coded her first website at 15 and has wholeheartedly lived in the exciting world of social media since the days of Piczo.

Yolanta Motylinska

Production Manager

Yolanta has extensive print production experience, and has held a number of appointments at managerial level in companies such as McGraw-Hill, Harcourt Publishers and Reed Elsevier. She feels passionately about the positive impact books can make on our lives, and enjoys the challenges of non-fiction publishing.
